Video Transcript:

Take everything you love about an SUV, now add a place to relax, cook, sleep, and you’re in a new vehicle class, an RUV, a recreational Utility Vehicle. I’m David Raschke with General RV Center. Today we’re going to take a look at, perhaps, the best RV in its class, the 2017 Axis 25.3 Class A motor home by Thor Motor Coach.

The Axis features a one piece fiberglass front cab, but look at this huge panoramic one piece windshield. It’s built on a Ford E Series chassis, and it’s powered by a 6.8 liter V-10 gas engine. Easy access to the engine compartment to check all the fluids, and also features fog lights.

The Axis features heated remote mirrors with integrated side view cameras, huge passenger window, it’s a welded tubular aluminum roof and sidewall construction with black foam insulation. It’s vacuum bonded, laminated, roof, walls, and floors. A large 18′ power awning with LED lighting. This is also Thor Motor Coach’s HD-Max gel coated fiberglass and graphics package.

There is no need for exterior steps with this low entry door. Rotocast storage compartments, 32″ LED flat screen TV, and two exterior marine grade stereo speakers.

The Axis features an 8,000 pound trailer hitch verses your standard 5,000 pound, large dark tinted frame-less windows, there’s a backup camera and roof ladder. There’s a premium one-piece TPO roof with an upgraded 15,000 BTU air conditioner. It also features a 12V Max Air attic fan with vent cover.

The driver side is where you’ll find your bedroom slide out with a slide topper. There is also your 30 amp detachable power cord, an outside shower with cable hookup for those parks that do provide that service to you. Also is your dump valves for your black and your gray tanks with heat pads.

The rear wheels feature valve stem extenders. This is going to help you tremendously in maintaining the proper air pressure for your real wheels. Look at that, more storage compartments, plus an Onan 4,000 watt generator with your LP tank.

As you enter the coach, conveniently located is all your switching for your lights, battery disconnect, as well as your monitoring station that will always tell you the status of how much is in your black tank, grey tank, and how much fresh water you still have on board, as well as how much battery power you still have.

Over here is you drop down overhead bunk stitch. A 32″ LED TV with a metal grab handle. Let’s go look at the cab area. Oh, now, these are extremely comfortable. These are swivel and reclining driver as well as passenger seats, with a powered night shade, privacy curtains, all your dash switches such as your generator start, your emergency start. Look at this, tilt wheel with cruise control and a touch screen Am/Fm CD Bluetooth stereo. Back up as well as side view monitor, the stow away coffee table, a dash workstation, and drop down overhead bunk with a ladder. The dining and living area features a 44 X 74 inch dream dinette sleeper, LED lighting throughout the entire coach, ducted AC, and look at this, 82″ interior to the ceiling. That ceiling is a hard vinyl. Speaking of vinyl, the floor is vinyl throughout the entire coach. You have a 6 cubic foot, dual powered refrigerator. The galley features an exhaust fan with cover. Look at this though, this is pretty neat. This is a flip-up counter top extension, and a pantry. Look at that; a lot of storage in there.

Speaking of storage, storage cabinets up above, oversized sink with single handle faucet and a pull down sprayer. Over here features a three burner stove, hood with light and fan, a convection oven as well.

At the back of the coach it features sliding divider doors, lots and lots of space for all your clothes. Look at this bathroom, this is really neat. Really nice looking vanity, counter top, stainless steel sink, medicine cabinet, more storage up above, and a porcelain commode that you can flush with your foot, but look at the decorative shower surround. That’s really neat.

Welcome to the bedroom. Features a queen bed, padded headboard, Bluetooth Coach Radio system with exterior speakers, and yet another 32″ LED TV.

That’s going to wrap it up on the interior. I hope you enjoyed our presentation of the 2017 Axis 25.3 Thor Motor Coach’s RUV.
