Brinkley RV is in the final stretch of the preview tour for its Model G prototype luxury fifth wheel toy hauler, and General RV is displaying the RV at several RV shows in 2023. The Model G made its official public debut with General RV at the Florida RV SuperShow in January. The Model G’s latest public appearance with General RV will be at the Utah Sportsman’s, Vacation and RV Show at the Mountain America Expo Center in Sandy, Utah from February 16-19, 2023. What’s New for the Forest River IBEX Travel Trailer?
IBEX RVs are built for adventure
IBEX campers are 7-foot or 8-foot wide and weigh well under 10,000 pounds. As a lighter weight RV, IBEX prides itself on being one of the best for SUVs and smaller trucks. In addition, all 2023 IBEXs come standard with the industry-leading Beast Mode Suspension from Curt. This axle-less design allows adaptive and independent movement, making tough terrain a breeze. The system also contains nitrogen-filled shocks and coil springs for smoother and safer towing.
A new standard on IBEX is the steel inner fender wheel well that will protect your RV from tire blowouts and debris. This, along with top-end Goodyear Wrangler tires, makes the IBEX one of the safest RVs to tow. Every IBEX is also constructed with Azdel composite material instead of plywood. This means your RV’s exterior is better protected from water, weather and noise. Plus, it is half the weight of plywood constructed RVs.
Standard features inside the 2023 IBEXs include a JBL Flip 5 wireless Bluetooth speaker for great sound wherever you go. Every IBEX has a queen-sized bed – even floorplans with Murphy beds! Each RV also comes equipped with a cold weather package, including a heated and enclosed underbelly, tank pad heaters and an enclosed termination system.
The power system of the IBEX is impressive for off-grid camping. The Unplugged Package features three RELiON Insight Series batteries, a Smart Remote operating system with Insight fuel gauge and much more. Each IBEX is also equipped with a solar power system and a robust power system that allows 110V outlets to be used while dry camping (camping with limited or no hookups). That means your CPAP machine, laptop and other AC power appliances are available no matter where you are.
One of the standout floorplans for 2023 is the IBEX 10LHG. This toy hauler travel trailer is the first RV of the Little Horn 10 series. Weighing less than 4,000 pounds, this will be their lightest RV yet. It’s perfect for SUVs or smaller trucks. This standout RV is 13′ 10″ long and seven feet tall, which makes it a breeze to tow.
The exterior of the RV features a 270-degree batwing awning from Rhino-Rack. There are also side panels to add more privacy and keep rain out. The batwing awning is attached to Vortex bars on the RVT tracks, allowing easy setup and tear down. These RVT tracks allow you to haul gear on the roof with ease. There is also a rooftop tent for additional sleeping space. The tent is great to use if you don’t want to unload your toys while on the road to the next destination.
The fenders of the RV double as step stools to reach the gear on your roof. Since it’s attached to the frame, it has a 300 pound capacity. It can also be used as a table or prep station
Store all your spices and cooking tools with ease
The kitchen is on the exterior of 10LHG and features a two-burner cooktop, Truma refrigerator/freezer and bottle opener. A spacious outside pantry, with a prep station and removable dump sink, is right by the kitchen. Another amazing feature of the 10LHG is the 30-gallon fresh water tank, which can be found in larger IBEX models. Plus, there’s a 30-foot spray hose for washing dishes, your toys and even your RV.
A great feature on the garage door is the dovetail for toys with low clearance. The rear ramp door also has a screen to let the breeze in while you’re camping. The garage area is 55” tall, perfect for hauling ATVs, dirt bikes, motorcycles and other small toys. There are also entry doors on both sides of the RV, allowing easy access to your gear.
Relax after a long day on the trails
Inside the 10LHG is a lounger set that doubles as a queen-size bed. There are also two folding dinette tables and cup holders on the wall. Other great features include a full-sized air conditioner with a heater, allowing you to camp later into the season. You’ll also find great storage in the front of the RV, with a wardrobe, storage and lockbox. With all this leading technology and design, RVBusiness has given it the 2023 Notable Innovation award.
The newest layout in the 7-foot wide line is the 19MSB. This travel trailer is packed with many automotive-grade features; from the panoramic front window to the diamond plate rock guard on the front end. The 19MSB comes with the all-terrain Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, too. These are perfect rocky campgrounds or getting off the beaten path.
The 19MSB also has an oversized 16’ awning that covers the bush kitchen with a griddle and prep station, as well as a 30-foot spray hose. In addition to a solar panel on the roof, there are Rhino-Rack RVT tracks for your large gear.
This IBEX is perfect for couples
Even though the IBEX 19MSB is only seven feet wide, the slideout is 18” deep for spacious living. This travel trailer can sleep up to four people with the queen-sized Murphy bed and convertible sofa. The Murphy bed has nightlights built within the wardrobes and individual lights for reading. Another cool feature of the Murphy bed is that there is a United States map that comes with stickers. You can easily mark the states you’ve visited and plan future trips! The rest of the furniture is made with a multipurpose vinyl that’s stain, water and scratch resistant.
The full kitchen features a breakfast nook with a deep sink and large pantry. It has two cozy seats, perfect for a meal or playing cards. New to 2023 is the butcher block kitchen countertops with live edges. You will notice the live edges throughout all the countertops of the 19MSB. There is also a full bathroom that has a radius shower and some storage for your bathroom necessities.
The new exterior decal for 2023 is simple and gorgeous
The newest bunkhouse model IBEX built for 2023 is the 19QBH. This seven-foot wide travel trailer is great for the whole family. It features large pass-through exterior storage, backup camera prep and TST TPMS sensor standard. A great feature on the 2023 models is the steel inner wheel well that helps protect against damage from a blowout or road debris. This bunkhouse is also equipped with Goodyear Wrangler tires to take you off the beaten path with ease.
On the roof, there are Rhino-Rack RVT tracks for gear storage like kayaks and larger gear. The 19QBH also comes standard with a bush kitchen, prep station and spray port on the door side with a 30-foot hose. This is great for washing muddy boots, pets or even your RV.
This RV has tons of living space and is great for a family
The interior is a beautiful cinder color palette with live edge countertops throughout. Inside the bunkhouse, there is a true queen bed in the front and enough sleeping space for six people. There is a large chaise dinette with a removable table. This dinette can also turn into a longue. The bunks in the rear are rated for 300 pounds, which is great for both kids and adults.
Instead of carpet, the flooring is resilient vinyl flooring, as well as vinyl furniture that is stain, water and scratch resistant. These great features keep your RV looking nice. The central vac system also makes cleaning up hair and dirt a breeze. Simply lift the little door with your foot to turn it on and just sweep in the mess.
The kitchen has a deep stainless steel sink, sink cover, two burner cooktop and convection microwave oven. The 19QBH also features industry-leading refrigerator space and plenty of storage for snacks.
The rear bathroom has a wardrobe with a lock box to keep your valuables safe. The full-sized shower features a Showermiser system. This allows you to conserve your water, by not letting it run until it gets hot.
The IBEX 20MDS is the newest eight-foot wide lightweight travel trailer. It’s on an 8-foot wide body and still well under 10,000 pounds. Plus, it’s only 23’ 9” long. This RV features a 14-foot awning, bush kitchen with prep table and 30-foot spray hose. There is also backup camera prep, as well as the Rhino-Rack RTV tracks on the roof for large gear.
You can use the map to document your travels
The interior features an oversized vinyl sofa that flips down to a queen-sized Murphy bed. A cool feature of this Murphy bed is the United States map that comes with stickers to mark the states you’ve visited! There is also USB plugs, CPAP outlets and extra storage space behind the wardrobes on either side.
For additional sleeping space, the dinette converts into a bed. With the dinette being in the slideout, there’s a more open living space. The new cinder color palette provides clean and gorgeous decals. There is also a breakfast nook with two barstools that can be used for meals and playing games when the dinette is being used as a bed.

The 20MDS has lots of cabinet space and a large refrigerator for perishable goods and beverages.
