Video Transcript:

Let me ask you a question. Have you been searching for the perfect, ultra-lightweight travel trailer that can sleep up to nine people, and be towed by a half ton pickup? Well, look no further. David Raschke, with General RV Center, and today we’re going to take a look at the 2017 Travel Star Expandable 229 TB. This unique travel trailer features expandable sleeping area, and it’s a great way to add room to a more compact camper. The folks at Starcraft designed these expandable trailers to accommodate large families, or families who just need a lot of room. They offer generous living space, and sleeps up to nine people, in fully sealed, cable supported fold out bunks.

As you can see, we’re in the expandable mode right now, and this is one of three queen size beds that’ll hold up 1,100 pounds. There are no poles because it’s cable supported, and surrounded by double stitched Aqualon tent material. This stuff comes with a seven year warranty. The dry weight of this coach is only 4,500 pounds, and it’s less than twenty-six feet in length. It also features two twenty pound LP canisters with an auto switch-over, and diamond plate front. The Travel Star features a tough shell, vacuum bonded side walls with welded aluminum framing, and black foam insulation. It also has solar panel capability. It features dark tinted safety glass windows, but look at this. This is Star Craft’s industry leading two year warranty, bumper to bumper coverage.

You’ll also find plenty of room in the storage compartment below. It also features a power awning with LED light bar, two exterior marine-grade stereo speakers, a two step lighted entry, a twenty-four inch grab handle makes getting in and out of this coach so much easier. It also features two exterior AC outlets, aluminum wheels, you never have to paint them, and four stabilizer jacks. What you’ll find at the back of the Travel Star, it is pre-prepped for an exterior gas grill. You’ll also find molded rain gutters with extended drip spouts, a spare tire with carrier, and this is the second self-supporting queen bunk.

Before we move on, I’d like to talk about that one piece seamless rubber roof. It is a Magnum roof system, and what that means to you, is it’s fifty percent stronger than the competition. It’s Crown Truss roof rafters on sixteen inch centers. It also features a 360 degree HD antenna, so you can catch all your favorite shows when you’re camping, and a 13,500 BTU air conditioner. Here’s where you’ll find your third self-supporting queen bunk. It also has a detachable thirty amp service, and conveniently located are your handles for your dump valves, for dumping your black, as well as your gray tanks.

Over here, you’ll find your cable television input for those parks that do provide that service to you, as well as additional storage, and a docking station with exterior shower, and my favorite, the black tank flush.

Welcome to the interior. Conveniently located to my left is your monitoring station, your switch for your power awning, as well as light switches. You’ll find your front queen bunk with Denver mattress and a heated pad, with a privacy curtain. The dining area features this huge eighty-six inch dinette that can easily be broken down for additional sleeping arrangements, and more storage underneath. The living area also features a jackknife sofa that can be easily broken down for additional sleeping arrangements, and more storage underneath. It also has a stereo system with AM/FM, CD, DVD, USB, and an auxiliary input.

Take a look at these cabinets. This is beautiful honey glazed cherry wood throughout, and LED lighting throughout this entire coach. You have an LED flat screen TV, your thermostat to control the heat in the coach. The galley features a double basin sink with high-rise faucet, and sprayer, decorative backsplash. This is very impressive. This is an eight cubic foot refrigerator, not like your standard six. A three burner stove with oven. Hood range with vent and light, and a microwave oven with a pantry.

The bathroom features a vanity with a sink. You have a skylight, a vent, shower surround, and a commode that is made of porcelain, and can be easily flushed with your foot. Here we have queen bunk two, and queen bunk three, with lots of storage underneath. Hope you enjoyed our presentation of Star Craft’s Travel Star 229 TB.
